The purpose of the 40-day practice is to strengthen the ability to do daily practice and deepen the yoga process. After 40 days of repeating the same series, we learn more deeply to add the energy that one practice brings to our lives and increase mental clarity. Doing the practice for 40 consecutive days strengthens consciousness and helps you become aware of the repetitive patterns of your mind. With regular practice, we begin to recognize these thoughts and behaviors and can change them for the better. In this course, I want to support your journey forward on the yoga path.

Content of the course

The course includes 3 online meetings.

  • During the exercises, we will meet at the beginning of the training cycle, which will give you a more comprehensive understanding of the exercise. The duration of the first meeting is approx. 1,5 hours. Halfway through the 40-day training cycle, we do the exercise together and catch up a bit, a duration of approximately 1 hour. At the end, we meet and do the exercise together, and share experiences of the 40-day trip duration 1,5h (sharing optional).

  • For 40 days, you will receive a link to a recording of the exercise, which you can play at home at a convenient time during the day.

  • The recording of the exercise at home includes an instructional video with a duration of approx. 15 minutes and an actual training video with a duration of 30 minutes. The training video includes warm-up movements and a varied meditation/pranayama practice (for 40 days the practice is the same)

  • For 40 days you can make a training video with 30-minute warm-up movements in full, or just a meditation/breathing exercise, duration approx. 15minutes

  • If you wish, you can join the Sanjaasiyoga community platform, where you can share your experiences or ask questions during the training process.

  • The training session changes after 40 days, after which a new training round begins

What does the course include?

  • In 40 days, 3 meetings in Zoom online mode, on varying days from 6 pm. One meeting from 1 hour to 1,5hours depending on the needs of the group.

  • The theory part of the 15-minute exercise is available for 60 days.

  • A 30-minute workout as a daily workout for 60 days for your use.

  • On the community platform of group support, (the Sanjaasiyoga community)

2024 training cycles/schedule

The training cycle always begins with the new moon cycle, when the energy of the moon and planets best supports the initiation of change. The meeting always starts at 6 pm HKI timezone. If you are unable to attend the meetings, you will receive a recording of them.

How to participate?

  1. Book & pay for a practice in the online store. Always sign up for a new cycle separately.

  2. When paying with benefits, register via email and pay for the course in the benefits application. When registering, please send the registration information (what a training round) and at the same time a screenshot receipt of the benefit payment to: info@sanjaasiyoga.com

Preparing for class

Download the Zoom application to your computer and reserve a quiet space for yoga. Prepare for class by providing yourself with a yoga mat, blanket, pillow to ease sitting, and water. After booking the class, you will receive a link to the remote yoga session at latest 1 hour before the class starts, and at the same time, you will receive more information about how to participate. You can enter the yoga room if you have a valid fee. If you want to participate several times, you can book several times at once. You will always receive a link to the class no later than 1 hour before the start of the class.
